We had a great time with Meredith Duke of Sew Senoia. She brought lots of handouts and free patterns (some of which can be found on the Moda Fabrics website). She discussed all things Precuts. Moda was the beginning of the precuts and named them after some type of dessert.
(each group is typically 42 pieces) Mini Charms = 2.5" squares Jelly Rolls = 2.5" WOF strips Charm Packs = 5" squares Dessert Rolls = 5" WOF Strips Layer Cake = 10" Squares Fat Eighth = 9" x 22" Fat Quarter = 18" x 22" Honey Bun = 1.5" WOF Strips Honey Combs = 6" Hexagons Cake Mix = pattern piecing for 10" layer cakes. |
