A great idea for next year's Auction. As you are going through things and find you would like to donate an item, put it in a box in your closet/basement/garage. If the item is too big to fit in the box, put a sheet of paper on the outside of the box and list the item and it's where abouts in your house.
This same idea can be used for yard sales. Price the items as you put it in the box. Thank you Lee Ann for your great idea!!

Cut your backing in half diagonally, shift one side down, sew it back together and presto you've just saved a boat load of fabric & money! And what quilter doesn't love to save money?! Using a brilliant worksheet from Jinny Beyer Studio based on a John Flynn method, Bradie is able to easily turn this 60" wide fabric into 77" without having to use two full lengths of fabric.
