Diane Knott - Lecture and Workshop January 2023
We had a great time with Diane as she shared her quilts during the lecture and then taught us the Under the Mistletoe pattern.  She is a great teacher with lots of helpful hints.

August Sweet 16 Birthday Bash.

We had a great time at our Sweet 16 Birthday Bash.

Thanks to Kris and Lynda for all your hard work.

We had Show and Tell. Hetty, Linda & Andrea showing Craft Fair Items they have made.
And the winners of our Left, Right, Center Fat Quarter Game.

May 2022 Fun

We had a good time at our guild meeting.  We had a last minute surprise with Coweta County Artist in Resident Amy Pabst.  She brought 14 quilts in a regular size overnight duffle bag!  They were Mini Quilts and Micro Quilts.  To see all of her piecing was amazing.
Then we Had Kristen Slagle from Southern Crescent Quilters Guild doing a demo and sew in for Post Cards and Quilted Hearts. What a way to touch people personally and anonymously.  If you don't feel like quilting but you are wanting to be creative, this might just be the ticket for you.

June 2022 Fun

Thank you Paula Brown for stepping in and giving us a wonderful look into quilting with Vintage Linens.  Paula has presented a Crazy Quilt Trunk show in the past that was fantastic.  This trunk show was just as wonderful.
All of her linens she has either found or have been given to her.  She cleans them in special products such as RetroClean.  She uses vintage table cloths, pillow cases, hankies, doilies and hand towels in her quilts.

March 2022 Fun
Let's Get Scrappy with Judy Daymont. What a great presentation and inspiration!

April 2022 Fun

Judy shared pattern ideas, tips on how to organize and store your scraps.  She had more than 20 quilts that helped us visualize how to use your scraps more effectively. See video below.
Our programs was brought to us by Kelly Harbin, who is the new owner of Cottontail Quilts.
  • She introduced herself and told us her story and all about the shop.  They offer specials, classes, Sewcials, Block of the Month, Sit and Sew, and even better, SIP and Sew!
  • She brought a pop-up market and we had a fun time shopping.
