Thursday Sewing Group

Picture
Our Guild members have the opportunity to meet every Thursday for a "Thursday Sewcial" at Mills Chapel Baptist Church from 10:00-2:00. It is a great time to share ideas and socialize while working on projects. Stop in any time and don't forget to bring a lunch. The first Thursday of every month will be dedicated to working on our Compassion quilts.
Check out these quilt tops! 7 tops made in one Thursday session!

Linda Camp Presentation

Linda Camp from Best Sunday Quiltworks presented a wonderful program including history of quilts, fabrics and dyes used in different decades as well as many humorous stories about different quilt patterns. Her program was informative as well as entertaining.  She shared many of her quilts including several Civil War. She also demonstrated an amazing half triangle template.
