MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HANUKAH
What an amazing and successful year 2017 has been for our guild! We learned how to paper piece and put together a bright and colorful Opportunity Quilt. And we participated in our first Christmas Market sponsored by the Newnan-Coweta Art Association. So much learning happened during our Saturday Sewcials from Mondo bags to barn blocks to casserole carriers! And we had another successful Chinese Auction and Christmas luncheon as well as 12 fun blocks for BOM. All these activities could not have happened without all the great committee workers and YOU!

Earn Buttons for Show & Tell with Punch Cards
August is the month when we are beginning the use of punch cards, if you choose to participate. Ribbons for show and tell will still be available and not phased out. The reward for a full card is a quilting button. There will be new buttons each month to pick from. We will punch your card for show and tell and a punch for all things extra you do for the guild like a participating in a charity sewing day, sitting with the opportunity quilt, giving a workshop etc. The first buttons will be given when you join 2015-16 and if you submitted a block for the newest patriotic opportunity quilt, and every time your punch card is full. The buttons will be near the sign in sheet each month for those who want to collect them.
